Name: Louise Haston
Age: 39
Where are you from? South Queensferry
Where do you live now? Edinburgh
Occupation? Financial crime advisor

Tell us a little about your career achievements?
Most of my track cycling was racing on the tandem with multi Paralympic gold medalist Aileen Mcglynn. Our journey started with riding world cups on the road, as well as double silver medalists at Glasgow 2014 commonwealth games, British champions in the f200 2017, silver and bronze medalists at the world champs in LA, and being selected again on 2018 for the commonwealth games in Goldcoast.

I also won multiple world/European and British masters titles racing solo for my track team Torq Performance as well as Scottish medals.

What are you career highlights?
Representing Scotland at 2 commonwealth games as well as winning Scotland’s first medal in Glasgow. Also representing GB at the para track worlds, winning a silver and bronze.

When did you retire?
Last year after the commonwealth games in Goldcoast.

How did you find the transition into not competing professionally anymore?
I wasn’t actually as bad as I thought I’d be. Think because I went back to work full time I never really got the chance to miss competing. I still miss being around my teammates, you spend so much time with them over the years it’s weird not seeing them everyday anymore.

What do you love most about Three Hiit Wonder?
I love how easy it is! Doesn’t matter where you are in the world, these circuits can be done anywhere. I also love you can make them as hard or as easy as you want.

What are your two favourite THW exercises and your two least favourite?
My 2 favourite exercises have to be squat jumps and skater lunges.

My lest favourite is definitely press ups. Only have one, love the rest 🙂

How has THW helped you in your life?
It’s not necessarily helped me in my life, but it’s given me new things to try. I love circuits and I love the variety. I also love that I can make them as hard as I want. I love pain.

What is your life tip to live by?

There is no such thing as “I can’t”
