Have you always been a Personal Trainer?

Previously, I have worked as a Sports Therapist before being a Personal Trainer and prior to that worked in Wholefoods and took some volunteering years with Project Trust!

What’s your favourite part of being a Personal Trainer?

I love seeing people who struggle with confidence and weight gain come in and take the journey towards their results. I also love re-setting mini goals with them to keep the journey EXCITING.

You have your own Gym? Tell us about that?

Unite Fitness Glasgow is a co-creation, it’s purpose is to provide an environment that encourages people to thrive in their fitness and something I’m very grateful for.

You are also an Animal Flow teacher. Why did you add Animal Flow to your skill set and what is it?

Animal Flow incorporates foundational gymnastic movements combined with elements of breakdancing. It’s an amazing workout and is incredible for improving strength and mobility.

Did you enjoy sport growing up?

I was a wee swimmer in Ren 96 and have some cringe worthy dancing videos but was never competitive.

What’s your favourite type of exercise now and why?

Bridges!

If someone out there is struggling with fitting exercise in with life on the road or a busy lifestyle what would your advice be?

Join Three HIIT Wonder! Keep you steps above 10,000 every day and if that isn’t possible, before you brush your teeth do 10 star jumps/push ups/squats, that’s 60 reps!

What do you love most about Three Hiit Wonder?

The ease of access. You can literally do it ANYWHERE and the community is really motivating.

What are your two favourite THW exercises and your two least favourite?

Hard one… hmmm BALLET SQUATS and Alternating V-SITS for favourites, Cross countries and Skaters.

How has THW helped you?

A wonderful fun community all trying to do better for their health. That’s motivating!

Give us one tip to stay motivated?

Do the hardest thing first thing in the day and feel great for the rest of the day! Roar like a lion and go!

What is your life moto to live by? TRAIN, LIVE, LAUGH
